✧ Touching the Armpit

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ عَطَاءً، عَنْ مَسِّ الْإِبْطِ، فَقَالَ: مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَمَسَّهُ مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ فِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ مَا سَمِعْتُ وَلَا أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْهُ
Translation
✧ I asked ʿAṭāʾ about touching the armpit. He said, 'I would not like to touch it since I heard about it from ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb what I heard, but I do not perform wuḍūʾ because of it.'
