Translation

✧ About a man who entered a mosque thinking that they had already prayed, so he prayed two rakʿahs of the obligatory prayer, and then the iqāmah was called. He said: “He enters with the imam and prays two rakʿahs, then says the salām, then makes the remaining two voluntary.” Al-Zubayr said: “I said to Ibrāhīm: ‘I did not know that anyone did this.’ He said: ‘Those before you used to do this.’”
