عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو حَمْزَةَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ، فَقَالَ: صَلِّ مَا شِئْتَ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ قَالَ: وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ يَضْرِبُ الرَّجُلَ يَرَاهُ يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ
Translation
✧ I asked Ibn Abbas about praying after Asr, and he said: "Pray as much as you like until nightfall." He said: "And I saw Umar beating a man whom he saw praying after Asr."
