✧ The blind man as imam

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ وَجَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ:
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَخْلَفَ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ يَوْمَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَكَانَ يَؤُمُّ النَّاسَ وَهُوَ أَعْمَى
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ appointed Ibn Umm Maktūm as his deputy on the day of the expedition of Tabūk, and he used to lead the people in prayer while he was blind.
