✧ The rulers who delay the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ الْجُمُعَةَ فِي بُيُوتِنَا، ثُمَّ نَأْتِيَ الْمَسْجِدَ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ الْحَجَّاجَ كَانَ يُؤَخِّرُ الصَّلَاةَ
Translation
✧ He used to command us to pray Jumu'ah in our homes, then come to the mosque, because al-Hajjaj used to delay the prayer.
