✧ Laughter and smiling during prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:

لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ التَّبَسُّمُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: أَسْجُدُ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ ؟ قَالَ: " إِنْ شِئْتَ، وَأَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ تَفْعَلَ

Translation

✧ Smiling does not interrupt the prayer. He said: I said: "Should I prostrate the two prostrations of forgetfulness?" He said: "If you wish, and I prefer that you do."
