✧ Wiping the Ears

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
مِنْ أَيْنَ تَرَى الْأُذُنَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ: مِنَ الرَّأْسِ قَالَ: وَأَمْسَحُهُمَا مَعَ الْوَجْهِ كُلَّمَا أَفْرَغْتُ عَلَى وَجْهِي، قُلْتُ: أَحَقٌّ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أُخْرِجَ وَسَخَ الْأُذُنَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا
Translation
✧ From where do you consider the ears? He said: From the head. He said: And I wipe them along with the face every time I pour water on my face. I said: Is it obligatory upon me to remove the dirt from the ears? He said: No.
