✧ Laughter and smiling during prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْهُذَيْلِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ:
بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ إِذْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فِي بَصَرِهِ سُوءٌ، فَوَقَعَ فِي بِئْرٍ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: مَنْ ضَحِكَ فَلْيُعِدِ الْوُضُوءَ، وَلْيُعِدِ الصَّلَاةَ
Translation
✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was praying with the people, a man with poor eyesight came and fell into a well near the mosque. The Prophet ﷺ commanded: 'Whoever laughed, let him repeat the ablution and repeat the prayer.'
