✧ The man who prays a prayer without completing it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَجُلَيْنِ يُصَلِّيَانِ، أَحَدُهُمَا مُسْبِلٌ إِزَارَهُ، وَالْآخَرُ لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهُ وَلَا سُجُودَهُ، فَضَحِكَ قَالُوا: مِمَّا تَضْحَكُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ؟ قَالَ: عَجِبْتُ لِهَذَيْنِ الرَّجُلَيْنِ، أَمَّا الْمُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ فَلَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَلَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ صَلَاتَهُ
Translation
✧ He saw two men praying: one of them letting his lower garment hang down, and the other not completing his bowing or prostration. He laughed. They said: What makes you laugh, O Abu 'Abd al-Rahman? He said: I marvel at these two men. As for the one letting his lower garment hang down, Allah will not look at him; and as for the other, Allah will not accept his prayer.
