✧ The imam's shortening of the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ قَالَ:
قَدِمَ طَلْحَةُ وَالزُّبَيْرُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا طَلْحَةُ فَخَفَّفَ، فَقُلْنَا: مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: " بَادَرْتُ الْوَسْوَاسَ
Translation
✧ Talhah and al-Zubayr arrived, and Talhah led us in prayer and lightened it. We said: "What is this?" He said: "I hastened against the whispering."
