machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to Ata: 'During the days of Hajj and other times, I am at a distance from the imam. Does the imam raising his head from bowing and prostration suffice me, or should I wait for the raising of those near me among the people?' He said: 'Rather, one raising suffices you, and the stronger of that in your mind is to match the imam's raising. Follow him as much as you can.'
