عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ:
دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَسْجِدَ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ، وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ صُهَيْبٌ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رِجَالٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: فَسَأَلْتُ صُهَيْبًا كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ إِذَا سُلِّمَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque of Banu 'Amr b. 'Awf to pray in it, and Suhayb entered with him. Men from the Ansar came in to greet him. 'Abdullah said: I asked Suhayb how the Prophet ﷺ responded when greeted during prayer. He said: 'He would gesture with his hand.'
