عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ
أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ سَعَى إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ: فَقَالَ: " أَوَلَيْسَ أَحَقَّ مَا سَعَيْتُ إِلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ "
Translation
✧ Ibn Mas'ud hastened to the prayer, and it was said to him. He said: 'Is not the prayer the most deserving of what I hasten to?'
