Translation
✧ Regarding a man who enters while the imam is prostrating, or just as he raises his head from a rak'ah, or sitting doing the tashahhud—does he say the opening takbir of the prayer? He said: "If he wishes he may say the takbir, and if he wishes he may not. But when the imam stands and says the salam, then he says the takbir and begins his prayer."
