✧ A man raising his gaze to the sky

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، حَتَّى اشْتَدَّ قَوْلُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " لَيَنْتَهُنَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لَيَخْطَفَنَّ اللهُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ
Translation
✧ What is the matter with people who raise their eyes to the sky in prayer until his words became severe about that? Then he said: "They should stop that or God will snatch away their eyes."
