✧ Raising the hands in supplication

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ،
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُشِيرُ بِإِصْبَعَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " إِنَّمَا اللهُ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ، فَأَشِرْ بِإِصْبَعٍ وَاحِدَةٍ إِذَا أَشَرْتَ "
Translation
✧ Ibn 'Umar saw a man pointing with two fingers, so Ibn 'Umar said to him: 'God is but one God. Point with one finger when you point.'
