عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ قَالَ:
إِنَّ عَبِيدَةَ لَآخِذٌ بِيَدِي إِذْ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ الْمُصْعَبِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ بَعْدَمَا سَلَّمَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ عَبِيدَةُ: " مَا لَهُ قَاتَلَهُ اللهُ نَعَّارٌ بِالْبِدَعِ
Translation
✧ ʿAbidah was holding my hand when he heard the voice of al-Musʿab b. al-Zubayr saying, 'There is no god but Allah and Allah is greater,' facing the qiblah after he had said the taslim from the prayer. ʿAbidah said, 'What is wrong with him? May Allah fight him! A loud proclaimer of innovations.'
