عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ، عَنْ وَرَّادٍ، مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ، أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ - كَتَبَ ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَيْهِ وَرَّادٌ -
إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ حِينَ يُسَلِّمُ: " لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ "، قَالَ وَرَّادٌ: ثُمَّ وَفَدْتُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَأْمُرُ النَّاسَ بِذَلِكَ الْقَوْلِ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمْ
Translation
✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say when he said the taslim: 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no possessor of fortune can benefit from You his fortune.' Warrad said, 'Then afterwards I came as a delegate to Muʿawiyah, and I heard him on the minbar commanding the people to say that and teaching them.'
