✧ How a man departs from his place of prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ سَمَّاهُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ فَرَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ جَالِسًا، فَانْقَلَبْتُ عَنْ شِمَالِي فَجَلَسْتُ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ: " مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَنْفَتِلَ عَنْ يَمِينِكَ ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: رَأَيْتُكَ فَانْثَنَيْتُ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ: " قَدْ أَصَبْتَ، إِنَّ نَاسًا يَقُولُونَ: لَا تَنْفَتِلْ إِلَّا عَنْ يَمِينِكَ
Translation
✧ I prayed and saw Ibn 'Umar sitting, so I turned to my left and sat with him. He said: "What prevented you from turning to your right?" He said: I said: I saw you and turned to you. He said: "You did well. Some people say: Do not turn except to your right."
