✧ What Is Said After the Tashahhud

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ
كَانَ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ التَّشَهُّدِ فِي الْمَثْنَى الْآخِرِ كَلِمَاتٍ يُعَلِّمُهُنَّ جِدًّا قَالَ: " أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ
Translation
✧ He used to say after the tashahhud in the final two rak'ahs some words which he taught very earnestly. He said: "I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of Hell, and I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the false messiah, and I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in Allah from the trial of life and death."
