عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، التَّحِيَّاتُ الْمُبَارَكَاتُ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ "، قَالَ طَاوُسٌ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ: " كَانَ يُعَلَّمُ كَمَا يُعَلَّمُ الْقُرْآنُ
Translation
✧ He used to say in the tashahhud: “In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful. Al-taḥiyyātu al-mubārakātu wa-al-ṣalawātu al-ṭayyibātu lillāh, al-salāmu ʿalayka ayyuhā al-nabiyyu wa-raḥmatu Allāhi wa-barakātuhu, al-salāmu ʿalaynā wa-ʿalā ʿibādi Allāhi al-ṣāliḥīn, ashhadu an lā ilāha illā Allāh, wa-ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa-rasūluhu.” Ṭāwūs said concerning the tashahhud: “It used to be taught as the Qurʾan is taught.”
