✧ Water Touched by a Junub or Into Which He Enters

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

لَيْسَ عَلَى الثَّوْبِ جَنَابَةٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ جَنَابَةٌ، وَلَا عَلَى الرَّجُلِ يَمَسُّهُ الْجُنُبُ جَنَابَةٌ، وَلَيْسَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ جَنَابَةٌ يَقُولُ: إِذَا سَبَقَتْهُ يَدَاهُ فَأَدْخَلَهُمَا فِي الْمَاءِ، وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهُمَا فَلَا بَأْسَ

Translation

✧ There is no ritual impurity on a garment, nor on the ground, nor on a man whom a ritually impure person touches, nor on water. He says: If his hands precede him and he puts them into the water while he is ritually impure, before washing them, it is fine.
