✧ Squatting (Iq'a) in the Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَطَرٍ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْتَرِشُ رِجْلَهُ - أَوْ قَالَ: قَدَمَهُ - الْيُسْرَى لِلْيُمْنَى قَالَ: " وَكَانَتْ تَنْهَانَا عَنْ عَقِبِ الشَّيْطَانِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would spread out his left leg—or he said his left foot—for the right. He said: "And she would forbid us from the heel of the Shaytan."
