عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ:
فَقَدَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَذَهَبَتْ بِيَدِهَا فَوَقَعَتْ عَلَى أَخْمَصِ قَدَمِهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: أَعُوذُ بِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أَبْلُغُ مِدْحَتَكَ، وَلَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ
Translation
✧ A'ishah missed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night, so she went feeling with her hand and it fell upon the hollow of his foot while he was prostrating, and he was saying: 'I seek refuge in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot attain to praising You, nor enumerate praise upon You; You are as You have praised Yourself.'
