عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
رَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ السِّتَارَةَ فَرَأَى النَّاسَ صُفُوفًا خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ مُبَشِّرَاتِ النُّبُوَّةِ إِلَّا الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُسْلِمُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ، وَإِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ، فَأَمَّا الرُّكُوعُ فَيُعَظَّمُ فِيهِ الرَّبُّ، وَأَمَّا السُّجُودُ فَاجْتَهِدُوا فِيهِ فِي الدُّعَاءِ، فَقَمِنٌ أَنْ يُسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ " يَقُولُ: فَحَرِيٌّ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ lifted the curtain and saw the people in rows behind Abū Bakr. He said: 'Nothing remains of the glad tidings of prophethood except a righteous dream that a Muslim sees or is seen for him. I have been forbidden to recite while bowing and prostrating. As for bowing, in it the Lord is magnified. As for prostration, strive in supplication during it, for it is worthy that you be answered.' He said: 'That is, it is fitting.'
