عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
يَا عَلِيُّ، إِنِّي أُحِبُّ لَكَ مَا أُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِي، وَأَكْرَهُ لَكَ مَا أَكْرَهُ لِنَفْسِي، لَا تَلْبَسِ الْقَسِّيَّ، وَلَا الْمُعَصْفَرَ، وَلَا تَرْكَبْ عَلَى الْمَيَاثِرِ الْحُمْرِ، فَإِنَّهَا مَرَاكِبُ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَلَا تَقْرَأْ وَأَنْتَ سَاجِدٌ، وَلَا تَعْقِصْ شَعَرَكَ وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي فَإِنَّهُ كِفْلُ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَلَا تَقْرَأْ وَأَنْتَ رَاكِعٌ، وَلَا تَقْرَأْ وَأَنْتَ سَاجِدٌ، وَلَا تَفْتَحْ عَلَى إِمَامِ قَوْمٍ، وَلَا تَعْبَثْ بِالْحَصَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ
Translation
✧ O ʿAlī, I love for you what I love for myself, and I dislike for you what I dislike for myself. Do not wear qassī, nor garments dyed with safflower, and do not ride on red saddle cloths, for they are the mounts of Satan. Do not recite while you are prostrating, do not tie up your hair while you are praying, for that is the share of Satan. Do not recite while you are bowing, do not recite while you are prostrating, do not prompt the imam of a people, and do not fidget with pebbles during prayer.
