عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ:
أَتَيْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ طَيِّبُ الرِّيحِ، حَسَنُ الثِّيَابِ، وَهُوَ يَقْتَرِئُ، وَرَجُلٌ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ يَفْتَحُ عَلَيْهِ " فَقُلْتُ: " مَنْ هَذَا ؟ " فَقَالُوا: عُثْمَانُ
Translation
✧ I came to the mosque and there was a man praying behind the Maqam, pleasant smelling, well dressed, reciting, and a man beside him prompting him. I said, 'Who is this?' They said, 'Uthman.'
