عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَقْرَأُ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ ؟ قَالَ: أَنْصِتْ لِلْقُرْآنِ فَإِنَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شُغْلًا، وَسَيَكْفِيكَ ذَلِكَ الْإِمَامُ
Translation
✧ A man came to Abd Allah and said: "O Abu Abd al-Rahman, should I recite behind the imam?" He said: "Listen to the Quran, for in the prayer there is enough engagement, and the imam will suffice you for that."
