عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
لَا بُدَّ أَنْ تَقْرَأَ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ، وَلَكِنْ مَنْ مَضَى كَانُوا إِذَا كَبَّرَ الْإِمَامُ سَكَتَ سَاعَةً لَا يَقْرَأُ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَءُونَ أُمَّ الْقُرْآنِ
Translation
✧ It is necessary to recite the Opening of the Book with the imam, but those who came before, when the imam said the takbir, he was silent for a while, not reciting, long enough for them to recite the Opening of the Book.
