عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ فِي الْعَامِ الَّذِي قُتِلَ فِيهِ بِمَكَّةَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ، فَقَرَأَ ﴿لا أُقْسِمُ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ ﴾، ﴿وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ﴾
Translation
✧ I prayed with Umar in the year he was killed, in Makkah, the morning prayer, and he recited: "I swear by this land" and "By the fig and the olive."
