عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَسُورَةٍ، وَفِي الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ
Translation
✧ I asked Jābir b. ʿAbd Allāh, and he said: "As for me, I recite in the first two rakʿahs of the noon and afternoon prayers the Opening of the Book and a surah, and in the last two only the Opening of the Book."
