عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
الِاسْتِعَاذَةُ وَاجِبَةٌ لِكُلِّ قِرَاءَةٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ غَيْرِهَا، قُلْتُ لَهُ: مِنْ أَجْلِ إِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قُلْتُ: فَأَقُولُ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ أَوْ يَدْخُلُوا بَيْتِيَ الَّذِي يُؤْوِينِي قَالَ: وَقَبْلَ مَا أَبْلُغُ مِنْ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ كَثِيرًا مَا أَدَعُ أَكْثَرَهُ قَالَ: " يُجْزِئُ عَنْكَ لَا تَزِيدُ عَلَى أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, from ʿAṭāʾ, who said:
✧ Seeking refuge is obligatory for every recitation in prayer or otherwise. I said to him: "Is it because of the verse 'When you recite the Qur'an, seek refuge with God from Satan the accursed'?" He said: "Yes." I said: "So should I say: In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful. I seek refuge with God, the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, the Compassionate, the Merciful, from Satan the accursed, and I seek refuge with You, my Lord, lest they attend me or enter my house that shelters me?" He said: "Before I reach this much of the saying, I often leave most of it." He said: "It suffices you not to add to 'I seek refuge with God from Satan the accursed.'"
