Translation
✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ stood up at night, he would say Allahu Akbar three times, and he would extol God three times, and he would declare God's oneness three times. Then he would say: "O God, I seek refuge with You from Satan, from his prodding, his blowing, and his spitting." They said: "How often you seek refuge from this one!" He said: "As for his prodding, it is madness; as for his blowing, it is poetry; and as for his spitting, it is pride."
