Translation

✧ Someone sought water for Umar's ablution and found it only with a Christian woman. He asked her for it and brought it to Umar. Its beauty pleased him, so Umar said: 'Where is this from?' He said to him: 'From this Christian woman.' He performed ablution, then went in to her and said to her: 'Accept Islam.' She uncovered her head, and it was like white cotton-grass. She said: 'After such an age?'
