✧ The opening takbir and raising the hands

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ:
رَمَقْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ حِينَ كَبَّرَ، ثُمَّ حِينَ كَبَّرَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ إِذَا قَالَ: سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ رَفَعَ " قَالَ: " ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَافْتَرَشَ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَى، ثُمَّ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى رُكْبَتِهِ الْيُسْرَى، وَذِرَاعَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى، ثُمَّ أَشَارَ بِسَبَّابَتِهِ، وَوَضَعَ الْإِبْهَامَ عَلَى الْوُسْطَى حَلَّقَ بِهَا، وَقَبَضَ سَائِرَ أَصَابِعِهِ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَكَانَتْ يَدَاهُ حَذْوَ أُذُنَيْهِ
Translation
✧ I watched the Prophet ﷺ and he raised his hands in prayer when he said the takbir, then when he said the takbir he raised his hands, then when he said 'Sami'a Allahu liman hamidah' he raised them. Then he sat and spread his left leg, placed his left hand on his left knee and his right forearm on his right thigh, then he pointed with his index finger, placed his thumb on his middle finger making a circle with it, and closed the rest of his fingers. Then he prostrated and his hands were level with his ears.
