Translation
✧ Abu Hurayrah used to say the takbir with us: he would say it when he stood, when he bowed, when he intended to prostrate, after finishing the prostration, when he sat, and when he intended to stand for the two rak‘ahs he would say the takbir. And he would say the takbir likewise in the other two rak‘ahs. When he said the salam, he said: “By the One in whose hand is my soul, I am the closest of you in resemblance to the Messenger of God ﷺ — meaning in prayer. This remained his prayer until he departed from this world.”
