عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُقَوِّمُنَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ كَأَنَّمَا يُقَوِّمُ بِنَا الْقِدَاحَ، فَفَعَلَ بِنَا ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى أَنْ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا تَقَدَّمَ فَرَأَى صَدْرَ رَجُلٍ خَارِجًا، فَقَالَ: عِبَادَ اللهِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، لَتُقِيمُنَّ صُفُوفَكُمْ أَوْ لَيُخَالِفَنَّ اللهُ بَيْنَ وُجُوهِكُمْ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to straighten us in prayer as if he were straightening arrows with us. He did that with us several times until, when he saw that we had learned, he came forward and saw a man's chest sticking out, so he said: "Servants of God, the Muslims, you will straighten your rows or God will cause your faces to differ."
