✧ When He Wipes Dust from His Face

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَزِيرَةِ يُقَالُ لَهُ ابْنُ عُلَاثَةَ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلرَّجُلِ إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ أَنْ يَمْسَحَ التُّرَابَ مِنْ وَجْهِهِ، ثُمَّ يَقُولَ: بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ عَنِّي الْحَزَنَ ".
Translation
✧ It was recommended for a man, when he finished his prayer, to wipe the dust from his face, then say: 'In the name of Allah, besides whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. O Allah, remove sorrow from me.'
