✧ Wiping Away Pebbles

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ يُسَوِّي الْحَصَى بِيَدِهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ، وَيَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِهِ: " لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ

Translation

✧ Abdullah b. Zayd would level the pebbles with his hand once when he wanted to prostrate, and he would say in his prostration: "At Your service, O God, at Your service, and I obey You."
