✧ Wiping Away Pebbles

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْأَحْوَصِ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ: قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ فَلَا يَمْسَحَنَّ الْحَصَى
Translation
✧ When one of you stands for prayer, mercy faces him, so let him not wipe the pebbles.
