✧ A Man Prays While Another Man Faces Him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ قَالَ:
رَأَى عُمَرُ رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي وَرَجُلٌ مُسْتَقْبِلُهُ، فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى هَذَا بِالدُّرَّةِ، وَقَالَ: " تُصَلِّي وَهَذَا مُسْتَقْبِلُكَ ؟ " وَأَقْبَلَ عَلَى هَذَا بِالدُّرَّةِ قَالَ: " أَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي ؟
Translation
✧ Umar saw a man praying while another man faced him. He turned to this one with the whip and said: "You pray while this one faces you?" And he turned to that one with the whip and said: "You face him while he is praying?"
