✧ A Man and a Woman Praying, One of Them Alongside the Other

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بُرْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ، عَنْ غُضَيْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ: إِنَّا نَبْدُو فَإِنْ خَرَجْتُ قَرَرْتُ، وَإِنْ خَرَجَتِ امْرَأَتِي قَرَّتْ. قَالَ: " فَاقْطَعْ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهَا بِثَوْبٍ، ثُمَّ صَلِّ وَلْتُصَلِّ
Translation
✧ I said to the Commander of the Faithful: 'We live in the desert, and if I go out I settle in one place, and if my wife goes out she settles in another.' He said: 'Then separate yourself from her with a cloth, then pray and let her pray.'
