✧ What Invalidates the Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي،
أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ بِرَجُلٍ كُسِرَ أَنْفُهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي، وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي مَا سَمِعْتَهُ فِي الْمَارِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُثْمَانُ: " فَمَا صَنَعْتَ شَرٌّ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، ضَيَّعْتَ الصَّلَاةَ، وَكَسَرْتَ أَنْفَهُ
Translation
✧ A man brought to Uthman b. Affan a man whose nose had been broken, and said to him: 'He passed in front of me during the prayer while I was praying, and I had heard what you said about one who passes in front of a worshipper.' Uthman said to him: 'What you did was worse, O son of my brother. You ruined the prayer and broke his nose.'
