✧ The Time of the Morning Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ: أَنْ صَلِّ الصُّبْحَ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ وَالنُّجُومُ مُشْتَبِكَةٌ بِغَلَسٍ، وَأَطِلِ الْقِرَاءَةَ
Translation
✧ 'Umar wrote: Pray the morning prayer when dawn rises and the stars are still intertwined, in the dark, and prolong the recitation.
