✧ Sleeping Before It and Staying Awake After It

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
إِيَّاكُمْ وَالسَّمَرَ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ، وَإِذَا تَنَاهَقَتِ الْحُمُرُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
Translation
✧ Beware of night talk after the late evening prayer, and when donkeys bray at night, seek refuge in Allah from Satan.
