✧ Sleeping Before It and Staying Awake After It

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ:
طَلَبْتُ حُذَيْفَةَ، فَقَالَ: لِمَ طَلَبْتَنِي ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: لِلْحَدِيثِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ، كَانَ يُحَذِّرُ بِالْحَدِيثِ بَعْدَ صَلَاةِ النَّوْمِ
Translation
✧ I sought Hudhayfah, so he said: Why did you seek me? He said: I said: For hadith. He said: Umar b. al-Khattab ؓ used to warn against hadith after the sleep prayer.
