✧ The Time of the Late Evening Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ طَاوُسًا يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ، وَيَطُوفُ سَبْعًا، ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ، ثُمَّ يَنْقَلِبُ قَالَ: وَكَانَ بِمِنًى إِذَا صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ، ثُمَّ انْقَلَبَ قَالَ: وَلَا أَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا قَبْلَ غُرُوبِ الشَّفَقِ
Translation
✧ I saw Tawus praying maghrib, then performing tawaf seven circuits, then praying two rak'ahs, then praying the late evening prayer (isha), then leaving. He said: When he was at Mina, after praying maghrib he would pray two rak'ahs, then pray the late evening prayer, then leave. He said: I do not know that except that it was before the setting of the twilight.
