عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَمْصَارِ: أَنْ لَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمَسْبُوقِينَ بِفِطْرِكُمْ، وَلَا الْمُنْتَظِرِينَ بِصَلَاتِكُمُ اشْتِبَاكَ النُّجُومِ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab wrote to the people of the garrison towns: Do not be among those who are overtaken by your iftar, nor among those who wait for your prayer until the stars interweave.
