عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ،
سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيَّ، وَأَنَا خَارِجٌ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فِي إِمَارَةِ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ قَالَ: أَصَلَّيْتُمُ الْعَصْرَ ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: الْآنَ صَلَّيْتُ الظُّهْرَ ؟ قَالَ: لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ عُمَرَ الْعَصْرَ هَذَا الْحِينَ
Translation
✧ I heard ʿAmr b. Maymūn al-Awdī, as I was leaving the mosque during the governorship of Bishr b. Marwān, say: Have you prayed ʿAṣr? He said: I said: Just now I prayed Ẓuhr? He said: I used to pray ʿAṣr with ʿUmar at this very time.
