عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: أَنْ صَلُّوا وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ نَقِيَّةٌ قَدْرَ مَا يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فَرْسَخَيْنِ إِلَى أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ
Translation
✧ ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb wrote: Pray while the sun is white and clear, for as long as a rider can travel two farsakhs until the sun sets.
